Google has brought a new app in India, called Areo that allows the user to order food delivery and home services. The hyper-local service from Google gives you the option to search for restaurants and deliver it to your current location.
Besides ordering food from your favorite restaurant, the app lets you call for a plumber, an electrician and even schedule appointment with a beautician. However, the Areo app is live only in Bangalore and Mumbai as of now which means the users in other cities will have to wait until it is released throughout the country.

Areo Application
Google has tied up with local partners UrbanClap for and Freshmen, Box8 and Faasos for home services and food delivery. As this app packs in almost everything under its lab, it will help the user to be free from the burden of downloading several apps to scroll and search for good restaurants or find best food. Additionally, the app provides customers review of the companies and eateries as well. The user can pay for the home deliveries or services by using their debit or credit card, net banking and can even opt for cash on delivery.
If you want the Areo app in your smartphone (provided that your current location is either Mumbai or Bangalore), here’s how you can get it-
- Go to Google Play Store and search for Google Areo in the search option.
- The app once pop up, click the install button.
- After the installation is completed, the app will show a map view and ask for your location.
- Type your location and tap ‘Save address’.
- The location once saved, you will be taken to the next screen that shows the numerous services available in the app.
