To refresh, the new BlackBerry Keyone was officially introduced at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona late in February this year. The aluminum framed BlackBerry KeyoneAndroid features a 4.5-inch touch IPS LCD (3:2 resolution / full-HD: 1080×1620 pixels).
The keyboard which is backlit supports swipe gestures and act as a trackpad. The device runs Google’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat and ships with the company’s secure DTEK app to ensure that the user’s personal details are secured and protected end-to-end.
The BlackBerry KEYone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone packs a 3505mAh battery and support QuickCharge 3.0 with a ‘Boost fast charge’ feature.
On the optics front, the smartphone sports a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX378 rear sensor that is capable of shooting 4K videos. There is an 8-megapixel front facing camera that comes with a flash module.
