The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Gionee today launched a new Smartphone in China called the Gionee M6S Plus. The Gionee M6S Plus carries a mammoth size 6020mAh battery to keep the phone running for more than one day.
The Smartphone comes in two storage variants- 6GB RAM+ 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM+ 256GB inbuilt memory.The highlight of the Gionee M6S Plus is its encrypted chip that is basically used to secure a user’s personal data on the device, a feature that is embedded in the previous M6 and M6 Plus Smartphone. The phone also has EAL 4 + security certification that provides two-level fingerprint encryption.
Gionee M6S Plus Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Gionee M6S Plus features a 6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) On cell AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The Gionee M6S Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner that sits on the rear panel below the camera module.

As for the camera, the handset sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The dual-SIM Gionee M6S Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo 3.5 skin layered on top.
Connectivity options on smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, USB OTG (on-the-go), 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS. Sensors on board include- light sensor, gravity sensor, electronic compass, compass, gyro, and proximity sensor. The device measures 163.3×80.9×8.25mm and weigh 215 grams.
The smartphone 64GB variant comes at a cost of CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs.32,800), meanwhile, the M6S Plus 256GB model is tagged with a price of CNY 4,299 (around Rs.40,200). The phone is already up for pre-order in its home country and the sale will kick off on May 2.
