Today I want to share something special with you, and it is OnePlus 3 & 3T OxygenOS Beta update brings support for Android 7.1.1 Nougat shortcuts, Quick Pay for India. OnePlus has started pushing new software updates to its premium high-end Smartphone, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The Chinese tech company is rolling out new Oxygen OS Beta 4 for the OnePlus 3 and Oxygen OS Beta 13 for OnePlus 3. The new update brings several new features, for instance, a brand new launcher along with support for shortcuts on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The update brings a redesigned app drawer and UI for launcher settings. Besides the camera, EIS for videos has been further optimised as well. Other features changes in this Open Beta Build include- Added status bar icon option to display real time network speed, added Notification Denoising, added Gaming Do Not Disturb mode, added automatic Night Mode, added, secure Box for file encryption, optimized touch latency, improved contacts management with linking and merge functions and bug fixes and general improvements.
OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T OxygenOS Beta update
Additionally, the users in India get Quick Pay option as well that allows the user to set-up a QR-based quick pay feature. The feature can be quickly accessed while the screen is either on or off with a long press of the home button. However, the feature will activate only if the user has Paytm, What, or Alipay app installed on their OnePlus 3 or the OnePlus 3T device.

Essentially, the users who have already flashed a previous Open Beta build on their OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T Smartphone, the update will arrive as OTA (over-the-air). Users who haven’t will need to flash the build manually by downloading it from downloads.oneplus.net. OnePlus, however, noted that once the user migrates to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs but will no longer receive the regular Official Stable OTAs. Besides, moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache)
