Sachin Tendulkar on 29 March started his digital innings, as a mobile phone app dedicated to him, 100MB Cricket, was launch in Mumbai. 100MB Cricket is now available for Android via Google Play, and for iOS via the App Store. The app is conceptualized and developed by JetSynthesys and has been envisioned by Sachin himself. A song sung by Sachin with the top 1singer Sonu Nigam will feature on the app on Sunday at 10 pm IST.
Speaking on the occasion, Sachin said, “Many of you and my friends have asked me what you are going to do in your second innings of life. The first innings went on for 24 years. There are a number of things which I am involved in, but something which I am looking forward to starting soon, in really now, is the digital innings.”
All type social media updates of Sachin will be available through the app.

Nigam said, “People fall in three categories – talented, genius and blessed. Sachin falls in the blessed category. I first heard him sing and told the composer Shamir Tandon that Sachin is one to whom god has given something extraordinary. He is blessed with something divine.”
Through the song, Tendulkar has also thanked all the players who have been part of his 24-year international journey including six World Cups.
