Today I want to share something special with you, and it is Tecno Mobile Launches Five New Android Smartphone, China’s Transition Holdings, which sell smartphones under the brands Intel and Infinix have introduced a new mid-segment Smartphone brand called Tecno in India on Monday.
The company has launched five Smartphone’s in its “I” series i5, i5 Pro, i3, i3 Pro and i7 that comes with the price bracket of Rs. 7,990 to Rs. 14,990. Tecno i7, the flagship model will go on sale on April 22, while the i5, i5 Pro, i3 and i3 pro is slated to hit the market from April 22. All the five smartphones will be available in Champagne Gold, Sky Black, and Space Grey color option.
The mobile is specially Made for India which is reflected through the prefix ‘I’ in android phones range. The camera in the smartphones comes equipped with a PIXELED engine, which basically retains good quality pictures in low night. Models like i7 come with a quad-LED flash module on the rear camera, while the front camera has a screen flash and a separate LED flash.
The company also says that smartphones feature anti-oil fingerprint sensor that allows users to unlock their phone under all “Indian lifestyle and weather conditions”. Tecno Mobile also boast about its Rocket Charging technology that it claims can charge the device from 0 percent to 80 percent in 60 minutes.

Besides, the company also highlights its very own HiOS custom OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat that includes features like Smart Split-Screen.
Lastly, Techo Mobile has introduced ‘151’ Promise which offers 100 days’ replacement, 50% buyback and 1-year one-time screen replacement. The promotional offer, however, is available free for a limited period only.
Tecno Mobile specifications
Now talking about the specifications, the flagship Tecno i7 features a metallic build and comes with a fingerprint scanner located underneath the home button. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. The highlight of the smartphone is its 16-megapixel front camera which is touted as “night-selfie camera” and it’s massive 4000mAh battery that comes with Rocket Charging (fast charging) support.
The front camera is equipped with screen flash and LED flash while the rear camera sports a 13-megapixel sensor with quad-LED flash.
The dual-SIM Tecno i7 Runs Company’s own HiOS based Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card.
The Tecno i5 and i5 Pro, both feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display and are powered by MediaTek MT6737T processor. The i5 Pro comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the i5 has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded.

In terms of imaging, both of the smartphones sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, aperture f/2.0 and an 8-megapixel front camera with fixed focus and aperture f/2.0. The i5 and i5 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat with HiOS UI layered on top. Both the devices get a battery backup of 4000mAh and support fast charging, 4G VoLTE.
The Tecno i3 and i3 Pro has similar specifications, except for the difference in RAM and anti-oil fingerprint sensor in the i3 Pro smartphone. Both the smartphones get a 5-inch HD display and are powered by a MediaTek MT6737 processor 8-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera; HiOS based Android 7.0 Nougat, 4G VoLTE support, and 3050mAh battery.
