Xiaomi’s new flagships- Xiaomi Mi 6 and Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus has been much in the talks over the past few weeks. The smartphones are rumoured to unveil on April 11. Now a new leak gives us a glimpse at the alleged specification sheet of the upcoming devices.
The image posted by SlashLeaks reveals that the both Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus will supposedly be powered by Qualcomm’s next generation chipset Snapdragon 835. The base variant Xiaomi Mi 6 is tipped to feature a 5.15-inch full HD (1920×1080 resolution) display. The smartphone is said to come with 4GB/6GB RAM and three storage options-32GB/64GB and 128GB. In its imaging segment, the Mi 6 is rumoured to have 19-megapixel Sony IMX400 sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel front facing a camera. The handset is said to pack a 3200mAh battery. As per the alleged specification sheet, the Mi 6 will run MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Plus variant, Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus meanwhile is suggested to sport a 5.7-inch full HD (1920×1080 resolution) display and 6GB of RAM along with 64GB/128GB storage options. The device is rumoured to feature a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 camera sensor on the back panel and 8-megapixel front camera and a 4500mAh battery. The Mi 6 Plus is seen to run Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 skin on top.
Separately, a leak report from GizChina unveiled the price listing of Xiaomi upcoming flagship models. According to the leak report, Xiaomi Mi 6 might be launched in 4GB RAM+32GB storage at a price of CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 19,000), 4GB RAM+64GB storage model at cost of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 21,800) and 6GB+128GB storage variant at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,600).

About Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus
Although the report from SlashLeaks purportedly discloses two RAM/storage variants of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, the report GizChna had suggested that the bigger version will come in three RAM/storage options. As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus is tipped to be available in 4GB RAM+64GB storage, 6GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB and are expected to be priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,700), CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 28,500) and CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 33,200) respectively.
Previous leak reports have suggested that the Plus variant, Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with a dual rear camera setup. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a Quad HD 2K OLED display.
Xiaomi, however, has not shared any official word on its 2017 flagship smartphones yet which suggest that we should wait until the final call is made by the company and let the reports remain half-believed as of now.
